The Rotary Club of Kathmandu Downtown (RCKD) is a vibrant, forward-thinking club under Rotary International District 3292, serving Nepal and Bhutan. Chartered on 25 August 2020, RCKD is one of the newer yet rapidly growing Rotary clubs in the Kathmandu Valley — built on the foundation of service, leadership, and fellowship.
We are a diverse group of professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and changemakers who come together with a shared purpose:
To create lasting change — locally and globally — through service above self.
To actively contribute to community development through service projects that promote health, education, sanitation, youth empowerment, and entrepreneurship, while fostering personal growth and global fellowship among our members.

Since our inception, RCKD has carried out numerous impactful programs and collaborations, including:
Health and hygiene awareness campaigns
School and scholarship support for underprivileged students
Girls’ toilet construction projects
Clean-up and environmental initiatives
ICT training programs
Disaster response and relief efforts
We collaborate with local communities, government bodies, schools, Rotaract clubs, and international partners to scale our reach and deepen our impact.
